Description

100-50-101 is an ultra-light-weight (8 oz.) comfortable frame with a coated scratch-resistant polycarbonate filter. The 50 style frame offers wrap fit with wide field of view. Lens has superior optical clarity with virtually no distortion to reduce eye fatigue. It is ideal for use in most laser applications and comfortable for long periods of wear. 101 laser filter offers protection from CO2 lasers (10600 nm) but will provide protection for UV lasers (190-380 nm). Please see Technical Specs for additional information about the frame and the filter or contact us. Filter specifications are permanently engraved. Meets ANSI Z136.1 standards for safety use with lasers. Meets ANSI Z87.1 - 2003 High Impact standards. These laser safety glasses meet and/or exceed US ANSI Z136 standards for use with lasers.
Laser Safety Glasses meet or exceed ANSI Z136 requirements for laser protective eyewear as well as safe for use with laser systems
Product Information:

101 Laser Protective Filter

OD Specifications (Optical Density):

OD 7+ @ 190-285 nm
OD 6+ @ 10,000-11,000 nm
Optical Density: is a measure of the transmittance of an optical element for a given length at a given wavelength λ. The higher the optical density, the lower the transmittance of light at a specified waveleng. See the ANSI Z136 for more information about OD and laser glasses.

VLT (Visible Light Transmission):

87%
VLT: The attenuation of light by a filter in the visible spectrum. VLT is determined in relation to standard illumination and evaluated according to the daylight-adapted (photopic) or night-adapted (scotopic) conditions descriped more in the ANSI Z136.7 for Testing and Labeling of Laser Protective Equipment. The lower the VLT, the less "visible" light is transmitted. Laser glasses may affect the ability to see warning lights/signs or distinguis between colors.

View Through Laser Glasses Filter*:

*View Threw Laser Glasses Filter is a general representation of the visibility through the laser glasses. The color and transmitted light may vary from what is shown. Please contact us for more information about this laser filter and appropriate viewing conditions was well as wavelengths that may not be visible because of these laser glasses.

Compatible Laser Systems and Wavelengths:

WARNING: THESE LISTED LASER SYSTEMS ARE COMPATIBLE BY WAVELENGTH ONLY. ALWAYS VERIFY YOUR LASER'S WAVELENGTH AND OPTICAL DENSITY REQUIREMENTS BEFORE PURCHASING LASER GLASSES.

Your glasses are the same I used when working in Operating Room several years ago. They are large enough to cover and clear so able to read . I am completely satisfied. Thank you for a quality product.
